Inquiry Regarding Custom Conversion Data via Outbrain API

We are currently working on retrieving report data using the Outbrain API. However, we have encountered an issue where custom conversion metrics—such as LP transitions and confirmation page transitions—are not available through the API.

As these events appear to be properly tracked within the Outbrain dashboard, we would appreciate your guidance on the necessary settings or steps required to retrieve these metrics via the API.

Thanks for reaching out!

To pull detailed conversion data in your reporting, add the parameter includeConversionDetails=true to the request URL of any reporting endpoint. Your granular conversion data will then appear in the conversionMetrics object. 

Note that by default, API conversion reporting attributes conversion data by the time of conversion, while the Amplify dashboard defaults to the time of click. If you'd like to change the API reporting to time of click, just add the parameter &conversionsByClickDate=true
