Outbrain MCP w/Claude

Hi,

Having issue running Outbrain MCP on Claude desktop (Cowork).

this is what I have in config file:

in Claude Cowork

when I click connect it open browser and show this

and then show this message in Claude:

how can I fix this or am I totally off?

would appreciate if someone could give step by step how to solve this.

Hey Adam, 

Apologies for the delay!

Your config file looks correct, so I'd suggest the following troubleshooting steps:

• Check for and remove any Amplify MCP entry added via Settings (since the UI overrides the config file)
• Fully quit and relaunch the app (it reads the config only at startup)
• Ensure Node/npx is available to the app (use the absolute path to npx in the config if needed); and inspect logs for errors at ~/Library/Logs/Claude (Mac) or %APPDATA%\Claude\logs (Windows).
