Hi, I am posting this conversation because I faced small issue with OB ads.
I created the campaigns and PromotedLink with Amplify API.
campaigns/campaignId/multiplePromotedLinks

In this case, I don't know how to set the format of ads.

I hope to update Standard to Clip. Please help me who knows about this.
Thanks

Hey Ivan,

Unfortunately, it's not possible to change the creative format of a campaign after the campaign has been created. So if you need to upload Clip ads you will need to create a new campaign and be sure to include "creativeFormat": "Clip" in the request body. (When creativeFormat is not defined we default to Standard format).

Once you create a clip format campaign you will then be able to upload ads that use GIF images.

Let me know if you have any further questions!

Best,
Bryn

Hi, Bryn. Thanks for your message. So I already created a campaign as a clip via api.
And I created promptedLink with mp4 files. But the format of these ads are standard. But the creative format is clip on outbrain.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thanks

Hi, Thanks for your message. I already created a campaign with Clip creativeFormat. And I created promptedLinks with mp4 files. But the format of these promptedLinks are standard. In my sight, they should be clip. Could you please let me know how to create promptedLinks as clip format? Thanks

Hey Ivan,

We weren't able to find any issue with the video provided, so we suspect there may have been an issue with how the video was hosted which caused only a static image to be parsed. Are you able to share the http link for the hosted video that you sent in the request body when you created the promoted link?

Best,
Bryn
