CNN imposes American bullshit to China again!

The following CNN news clip made the top entry to Reditt, the American equivalent of 天涯。

The news states that the Chinese black girl was discriminated in a talent show and bashed in the Chinese internet community because of her skin color, thereby labeling this event as an incident of racism in China.

This news perfectly fits the taste of American audience.

However, when I investigate via Chinese websites, I found the situation is more complicated than that. The girl gained popularity in the internet and broader audience because she is good and black. At the mean time, she definitely receives negative comments and criticisms, yet not because of her race, but of her mom's adultery with a black American, the biological father.  When the mon is pregnant with the girl from one night stand with the black guy, she was already married. Despite of being betrayed, Her husband accepted and raised the black girl as his own daughter. Three years later, he gave up and divorced the mon because of social pressures.

CNN is so good at making shit up and taking things for granted based on their own American standard!

take it easy... is there any impartial media at all? I think main media in every country works for its own ideology to brain wash people...

Speaking of racism, I want to recommend a book called "The 10,000 explosion, how civilization accelerated human evolution" (2009). A science book for laymen yet very controversial among the science community. The main topic is self-evident from the title. Some people even call it new racism because the authors argue there are not only physical but mental differences among people in different region. Some  very interesting idea include: East Asian, especially China were selected for the tameness because of the empire governance( just mentioned) and Ashkenazi's smartness has biological basis. Anyway, there may be many errors in the theories, but the book has tried to break the taboo, of talking the difference between nationalities and provided a new point of view to thinking about human and culture.
