Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions is a video game released in 2010 by Beenox and Activision. The game features The Amazing Spider-Man working in conjunction with his counterparts from other dimensions (Spider-Man Noir, Spider-Man 2099, and Ultimate Spider-Man) to reassemble a shattered magical tablet before its power falls into evil hands.
!UPDATE!: Hello all. On behalf of our team, we would like to thank you all for your auditions and hard work! That being said; we will be reopening this project for a limited time to find the exact right voices for certain characters new to the Casting Call and some familiar. So get out there and start your adventure in the Amazing Spider-Verse! Best of luck true believers!
"Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions 2" also known as "SSD- Lives Reborn", is a continuation of the first shattered dimensions game. With a full new script, cast of characters and adventures these web-heads are in for one wild ride!
The story takes places during the events of the first game, however, time has been splintered, realities shattered, more Spider-Men were needed; but only the original four received the spotlight. Now it is time to tell the other side of the story. What happened to the other pieces of the fragment, and to what lengths will our web-slingers go to retrieve them?
My name is Dan. I have been acting and doing voices since I was a child. I am a hard worker, a people person, and I respond quickly to messages. I am open to most forms of projects that you may have for me, so don't be afraid to ask. I look forwards to working with you, and helping you accomplish your dreams. Thank you.
!(Really looking for a genuinely older man's voice for uncle Ben)!
The oldest member of the new Spider-Men. Uncle Ben, the very inspiration and conviction of Spider-Man's life and legacy. He is wise, strong, knows who he is as a man and is a leader of men. When everyone else has given up he rallies them to victory. He is tough on those who do wrong, and he is kind to those who do what is right. He will never give up; especially when his family is in danger.
If there's one thing I can't stand it's boys who think their men because they can throw a harder punch. What are you going to do with all that strength? Waste your life beating down anyone who says you're wrong? That's a long, dark and lonely road son.
!This role involves a LOT of yelling and growling! One of the main players in the whole story. The most dangerous of the new Spider-Men. He keeps to himself, trying to convince the others that he is a regular Spider-Men like them. He does not speak (as that would give him away), but prefers to growl like an animal. (He does speak later in the script).
Angry, volatile, unimpressed by the others and animalistic - Kraven wants to prove that he is a better Spider-Man; but to do that he must overcome the thrill of the hunt that keeps nagging at his soul. Kraven is a good guy in this story (or at least his black suited counterpart is), he will do what he must to succeed and save his world.
The Shocker - AKA - Herman Shultz. Small time crook, big time baddy. Don't let his comedic look fool you, he packs quite a punch. He developed gauntlets while serving time in prison that could send shockwaves through the air; disintegrating anything in their path with a massive explosion. Though Spider-Man has made a joke of Herman's life, this version of Shocker is smarter, tougher, and an all-round villain.
He's a more stoic and stern Spider-Man, (Or in some dimensions, he's a very charismatic jokester (see references)). The future year of 2099 is his domain and there are not too many good people left to defend it. His #1 enemy is his old employers "Alchamex", much like the original Spider-Man's Oscorp. I would say he's older than the other Spider-Men, but that's simply not the case when you have old men and noir styled Spider-Men around.
The Jackal. Miles Warren. A warped mind of a chemist/biologist inside the body of a raving animal. He was a professor at Peter Parker's college and a dear friend of Gwen Stacy's. After Gwen's death Professor Warren went insane and blamed her death on a fake persona he called "The Jackal". He is brilliant, insane, a dark and disturbing sense of humor, and truly despicable. His number one goal is to murder Spider-Man in revenge and bring Gwen back to life through any means necessary (which, in his line of work means CLONING).
Abomination aka Emil Blonksy. A former soldier or asset of the U.S. army he found the machine that turned Banner into the Hulk and used it on himself. The results turned him into well, and Abomination. He is no joke. He has an above average intellect, well trained in military tactics and combat, and is on equal power with the jolly green giant himself (until Hulk amps up his strength a good threefold). Abomination is clever, strong, and manipulative.
If I wanted to match intellects with someone I would play chess with Magneto, if I wanted a good fight I'd find that green ape. But you? (*Cracking knuckles) Don't bother getting up. You have my permission to die.
Oh boy. My first day on the job. This is going to be great. Heya guys! Yep Bob, your doing good. This is the life. Helping out an organization that Really wants to change the world. Man, if only my mom could see me now. (*Some hero breaks into the base [probably DP and Cable]) Ack/ahh! Don't kill me!
Why couldn't I have been a doctor? I could have been a doctor. But nooo. Hydra says "You'll change the world. Join us. Here's a fancy leotard". Yeah big whoop. Almost getting murdered every day is not my idea of a great career. Even with great benefits. I gotta get out.
We are looking for artists to bring our story to life with their amazing skills. We will be focusing on new stories that you can help create. (Special but not necessary emphasis on art styles like that in "Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions").
The Number one role of this story. The Lion's share of lines goes to this VA. The classic 1994 Spider-Man. I'm sure many people grew up watching this guy on their television sets, and now, here he is! Genuinely good hearted and full of conviction, this Spider-Man struggles to balance any relationship in his life at any given time. He often ends up saving the day but not getting what he wanted. A good'ol boy who's down on his luck. And in this story, is married to Mary Jane (though she is missing).
This voice actor is the same as the one who voiced Spider-Man Noir In Shattered Dimesons (Christopher Daniel Barnes). Though his voice would be ideal we encourage you to try your own style of this character.
Pull yourself together Spidey, you sound like your going crazy. Alright, alright, alright, let's get this straight. On the one hand I can't just waltz into the Kingpin's place of business, but I can't let him get away either. On the other hand I have a date with Mary Jane tonight. That I'm late for! Oh boy, sometimes I wish I was just a regular guy.
One of the top players and heavy hitters of this story. The youngest of the new Spider-Men, Miles Morales tries his best to fill the role of Peter Parker the Spider-Man. While he has gone through his life honoring Peter's memory he has learned to "just be himself", finding strength in his friends (whether from his reality or another) and in the legacy that Spider-Man left for him. One thing is for sure; Miles has risen to stand amongst the greatest heroes of all time.
Jovial, suave-ish, a good mix of nerdy and cool, level headed and sometimes doubtful. He gets thrown off balance often but always comes through in a pinch. Never underestimate him, or try to attack his family.
I would have got here sooner but I...uh, had a thing I needed to take care of downtown. Hmm? Oh-nah, I just took the train to get back... (to himself) the top of one anyways. That reminds me. (Normal) Hey can I borrow like, ten bucks?
Ungggggh... Didn't feel a thing. Wher'd he go? C'mon! I'm ready to.....(Scared/freaking out/nervous) YEEE-AAAAAH!!! Your right there! Woah man! I don't want any trouble....um...well, I mean I guess I do want to put you in prison. So... I don't want you to cause any trouble. Okay?
A main player in the story, and the daughter of Peter Parker. She has had to live with her father being killed, and trying to fill his legendary shoes. Although she does end up becoming one of the greatest Spider-Men, she often doubts herself.
Spider-Phantom is from another dimension and is the most grey area'd of all the Spider-Men. She often puts her own needs above others but can step out of her way when the multiverse is in danger. While her costume looks similar to "Spider-Gwen's" she is very, very different. She is, in fact, a Robin Hood-esk thief (with more emphasis on taking for herself). An anti-hero she is somewhat cocky, a happy-go-lucky sort of kindness that seems fake, daring, cunning, clever, and a hero at heart. (Her world doesn't use common cuss words and often uses "Rats" or "Fats" for curses. She is afraid of clowns).
The main and original Spider-Man of the game. Although his role is shorter in this game he is no less important. After all, he was the first. He is a bit older (been around the block kind of guy), but in all of that he is still as energetic and "quippy" as ever.
Try any voice you like. Go crazy add lib (but keep it family friendly). For reference though, we are looking for a voice similar to the original from the game. (Is that 100% solid? No, we could change our minds. It all depends on how well you do). Best of luck!
(In combat) Hey there charming. How's your day going? Me? I'm actually doing great! New day, clean socks, summer breeze, Oh and Lu's shop down the way actually has sprinkled donuts this morning! Huh? I'm sorry, were you saying something.?
The youngest and most cocky of the original Spider-Men. He is hot headed and ready for action. He's very sarcastic and very justice oriented. While he does have a good heart he often finds himself in trouble whenever he tries to help OR decides to walk away. So is the life of Spider-Man.
