January Update

Happy New Year! Thank you to everyone who helped with the Rose Parade Fundraiser, we had another successful year. If you haven't signed up for Lovefest make sure you do it soon! Registrations keep pouring in and we want to make sure our own families get signed up before we reach our capacity. Here are some events for January and February:

January 17th (MLK Day) - Bowling:

No School Monday which means a day at the bowling alley. $10 for shoe rental and two games. Meet at the church around 12pm noon and we'll be back to the church around 4:00pm. Bring extra money if you want anything from the In-N-Out across the street.

January 22nd - Union Station:

Union Station Homeless Services needs our help to prepare and serve a meal to those in need. Our high school youth commit to attending every other month. A group leaves the church at 6:30pm to head to the Pasadena adult center and we generally arrive back at church between 9:00 and 9:30pm.

February 12th - Lovefest 9:

February 19-20th - Big Bear Winter Retreat:

We return to Big Bear for another weekend in the snow on Saturday night. This is presidents day weekend and most schools will have Monday off from school. Cost is $50 per person and will include meals, transportation, a t-shirt, and lodging. Meals included are lunch and dinner on Saturday as well as breakfast and lunch on Sunday. We will leave on Saturday morning at 8am and will return to the church on Sunday around 3pm. Sign up with me soon before our spots fill up.
