Happy Easter Everyone!

Some announcements about the upcoming Month of May:

Sunday Morning Bible Study Music Opening:

A reminder that Sunday morning we will begin Bible Study at 9:15am in the 2nd floor youth room to open with some praise music. We will then begin Bible Study at our normal time of 9:30am. Our upcoming bible study series will be "Teens vs Parents" as we study how teens can build healthy relationships with their parents. Also, this will be our first Sunday morning with the new confirmads! Make sure you greet them and make them feel welcome.

Paintball - Saturday May 21st:

We've got a full day of Paintball at SC Village in Chino, CA lined up for High School and Junior High youth. Cost is $45 for 5 hours of paintball play and will include everything you need to play along with lunch. We'll meet at the church around 9am to leave for SC Village. We will play from 10am to 4pm and expect to be back at the church around 5pm. Youth should bring extra money to buy paintballs if they think they may run out. If you are attending you must fill out the waiver attached to this email for SC Village and have it signed by a parent. This waiver can also be downloaded off our website: www.oslcarcadia.com. 

Mother Daughter Luncheon - May 7th:

Calling all males in the youth program. Saturday May 7th is the Mother Daughter Luncheon and we need the guys to help serve and clean up. Please let me know if you can attend this event; we are normally finished shortly after lunch.

Union Station - May 28th:

On Saturday May 28th our youth group will help prepare and serve a meal to those in need. A group leaves the church at 6:30pm to head to the Pasadena adult center and we generally arrive back at church between 9:00 and 9:30pm.

Easter Breakfast Thank You:

Finally a "Thank You!" to everyone who helped out with our annual Easter morning breakfast. It was a huge success and there were several comments about how much everyone enjoyed seeing the youth that morning. We hope you'll look forward to doing it again next year.
