Good afternoon everyone! We have some events coming up in March that I'm sure you'll be excited to hear about. Check them out below and let me know if you have any questions. All of this information is also found on our website at: www.oslcarcadia.com. 

High School Lock-in: March 18 and 19

This Lock-in will be with a group of other Lutheran churches in our area and will be held at Redeemer Lutheran in Ontario, CA. We'll meet at OSLC at 7pm on Friday to leave for Redeemer and the cost is $10 per person. We should be back to OSLC around 9am on Saturday morning. 

Bring some clothes to sleep in, a sleeping bag and pillow, toiletries, your bible, and yourself. Simply let me know you're coming by email, facebook, or text message to reserve your spot. We hope to see everyone there!

Sky High in Costa Mesa: March 26

Our first attempt at Sky High didn't go as planned but we all agreed we had to try again. Have you ever wanted a giant room full of trampolines on the ground and walls?! If you answered yes, you should join us on Monday for a trip to Sky High in Costa Mesa, CA. The cost is $10 per hour and we plan on staying for 2 hours ($20 total). Bring extra cash if you think you'll want food. 

We will leave the church at 1pm and we plan on returning around 6pm. To attend you must have your parents sign the liability waiver which can be found on our website. Stick around after we return and help us with Union Station (details below).

Union Station: March 26

Union Station Homeless Services needs our help to prepare and serve a meal to those in need. Our high school youth commit to attending every other month. A group leaves the church at 6:30pm to head to the Pasadena adult center and we generally arrive back at church between 9:00 and 9:30pm. More information can be found on our website here.

Lent Dinner Cook and Serve: March 30

Every year the youth program takes one of the Lent Dinners to help cook the meail and serve the congregation. We'll have more details on this soon.

Revolve Tour (Girls Only): April 15 and 16

The Revolve tour is a one-of-a-kind inspirational weekend for 6th to 12th grade girls that combines award-winning bands and speakers with real, relevant messages in a high-energy event. If you are interested in attending with our group please contact me. Tickets are $57.40 and includes lunch on Saturday.
