For those of you following the saga that is the Lafayette Charter
initiative, you will be pleased to know it has cleared its first
hurdle. The elections representative, Candace Haines, has decided it
does not violate the constitutional requirements.

So, next step: the ballot title and text.

Keep those great thoughts coming. And we really appreciate all of the
input we have received. Even from those people who pretend to protest
in the public arena.
