Dear All

This is to inform you that we are going to organise farm field schools on Insect Literacy based IPM on Paddy under Pesticides Free Punjab campaign under Dr. Surender Dalal Keet Saksharta Mission (Regd.) Jind, Haryana (India). In these classes, expert farmers will be teaching about Cultivation of Paddy without spray of pesticides by identification of insects and their relationship with crop and other insects.

Our experience has shown that it takes around 2 hours on field in two sessions per season to teach farmers and the results have been very encouraging as there has been no failure so far. 

We are running the campaign since 2017 with expert farmers as resource person(s) for imparting this training. 

1st session is held in the first week of July when farmers usually apply pesticides for control of early stem borer.

2nd session is held in first week of Aug when farmers usually spray pesticides to control Leaf Folder..

The cost of cultivation reduces to lesser than Rs. 2500 per hectare.
