PAU established the School of Organic farming in 2017 and after few months a delegation of farmers of Natural Farmers Association NFA met VC PAU to set up a Club of Organic farmers for direct interaction between farmers and scientists.. 

The club is a registered body with patronage of PAU School of Organic Farming. A seminar is conducted every three months with topics decided by Executive body of the Club and approved by the school.  Members farmers in Club's What's App group suggests the topics to be included in coming Seminar, out of which few critical are selected by the executive. The school management arranges for the faculty and infrastructure is provided by Skill Development Centre of PAU...

Punjab is not only the food bowl of India but house to potato seeds for being in conducive agro-climate for best quality Potato seed production. Central Potato Research Station, Jalandhar, Punjab has established a technique to produce quality potato seeds in net house. Seed is major element of cost of production in potato cultivation and the crop success depends on quality of seed. Since market of potato is most volatile, hence if farmers learn the art of production of quality seeds, they can have some advantage in the market...
