Babies, campmates, virgins, oldtimers:

We talked on our last GG park meeting about a pre-burn dinner to
channel and share the energy of this very moment. Our last meal before
leaving the industrial civilization for the post-industrial utopia we
call home.

What about meeting on the 27th (two weeks from now) on a neutral place
(AKA, a restaurant) for a last kick before gathering on the playa?
Some vegan friendly place perhaps?

Calder, Pablo - thanks for the foresight!

And Calder, agreed, Monday is far less important than Friday (especially now that the shift is empty) - so Devine & Fredo - I've moved your time period down to Friday (and everyone will now be cooking for NINE people, instead of 12 :). See: http://groups.google.com/group/ourcamp/web/meal-plan

I emailed George, Phil & Julia (Han for sure isn't coming) early yesterday, and still haven't heard back - so let's move ahead with 9 members, unless I hear from them by Friday (and will let you all know!)

Regarding the pre-burn dinner... I've spoken with a lot of members these past few days, and with almost 2 weeks left I don't think we will all have time and one free night between us to go for it (if you feel differently, just email me :) Buttt....I AM down for picking up some high-quality Mediterranean fare before we jet so we can all come together for a Monday meal, without anyone stressing about cooking (and will drop a receipt to Kecia tomorrow.) A few years ago a camp I was in didn't arrange for a group meal the first night - but with everyone tired & exhausted from set-up -- that turned out to be the one night we needed it the most! So let's consider it taken care of~***

No can do huney bunny, as for me I'm volunteering and and more than likely will not be available for dinner on Friday. Devine may be on the same boat and that's why we picked the beginning of the week. If anything just push everyone a day forward and I think that would work better.

That would be Thursday the 27th. I would say yes, but at the same time I know I'm trying to build my costume and Devine has costume days on Tues. and Thurs. Wednesday would be waaayyy better!!!

Yeah, I think we shouldn't worry about Mondays Meal. People are gonna probably snack on the road as such, so I think , financially speaking we should be on our own.

We have an open "dinner night duties" since arrival dates have been changed and ori and rayma are not a part of our group anymore. Devine and I are not available for Fridays dinner. We originally scheduled for Monday for the same reason. Is anyone gonna be around Friday for that evenings dinner and care to volunteer for dinner duties? I'm suggesting that:
• we all get moved a day forward
• we ask the possible camp mates to be to take over that shift
• or not have a dinner for Friday if no one will be around.

Input please :)
