I looked at our card and a raise of 1 of of a major to 3 of a major
after an overcall (1S - 2D - 3S) is a limit raise. I don't think that's
what it should be, but that's what we agreed upon. It is more common
these days to use a cue bid to show strength, often as a raise, or just
bid a new suit to show the points. 1M - 3M would then be used as a
pre-emptive bid. Until we agree upon this, I will play the other way
(and try to remember it).
