Your partner opens 1NT (15-17) and you have
Ax AJT9x Jxxx AQx
How do you proceed?

I would (and did) transfer to hearts and then bid 3D.  In our partnership, this is a slam try.  When partner bid 3H, I jumped to 4S which we play as keycard ask.  Partner showed 1 keycard (by bidding 5C) so I asked for the Queen by bidding 5D.  Partner denied the Q by bidding 5H.  Since we were off one keycard and the Q of trump, I stopped in 5H.

bidding went:

1N - 2D
2H - 3D
3H - 4S (keycard ask)
5C (1 or 4) - 5D (do you have the Q of hearts)
5H (no) - Pass

I did not really like making a slam try in diamonds with such a crummy suit.  But I had enough points to explore slam so I found that to be the best bid for our system.

How did you do?

First, I find out who's extra card I have (I have 14).
If its not the hearts, then I'll start with a transfer. If its super accepted, I'll bid rkc, and then maybe go on looking for kings for 7h, but expecting to ultimately be in 6h. With no super accept, I'll just be lazy and bid 6nt.
