to OuluCHAFF
Dear Findians,
The second trip to Nordkapp lacked one essential ingredient - a Finn.
The trip consisted of 3 Indians, 3 Chinese, 2 Tamil speaking Sri
Lankans and 1 Sudanese.
The Indians spoke English and their respective local languages plus
Hindi. the Chinese spoke English and Chinese. The Sri Lankan gent
spoke a smattering of English, a smattering of Finnish, some Arabic
and of course, tamil. The Sri Lankan lady spoke a bit more English
than her husband, substantially more Finnish than her husband, and of
course, her mother tongue, Tamil. The Sudanese gent, who is a
professional bus and truck driver, spoke Arabic, Finnish and
understood just a little English.
As far as I know, although the weather Gods were not kind to them,
they had a hectic trip and returned to Oulu at 5 am on Monday
morning, just in time to report for work in their respective
companies.
Let us see what Group gets together this week!
Regards
Jacob
