To give some context, i am making a colloseum style world where players can fight custom made bosses, so far it is simple stuff with effects, extra health occasionally spawning other mobs or teleporting but i'd like to make it more complex if possible.

Is there a way to make a mob use attacks from other mobs or that if the mob hits u, u get an effect such as blindness or something like that(ofcourse i'd add particle effects and sound effects to make it look better).

I recently swapped to sodium because my computer is a potato and now Minecraft runs 3x better than with OptiFine. I already have connected textures but I miss the OptiFine custom item feature. Is there a way to get it with a mod?
