trouble with accessing MATLAB sources codes in oufti

I wanted to access MATLAB source code of oufti, but when I open .m file available in this software in MATLAB, it can not be read, and there are some undefined syntax, I am using MATLAB R2020a I will be grateful if you help me to solve this problem.

All source code of Oufti is available here: http://www.oufti.org/download.html (under "source code (non-compiled version, requires MatLab):"). Select your operating system and download the correct version of the source code.
