Hello,

I am using Oufti in MATLAB R2021b on a Macbook Pro. I was following the Cell detection tutorial here and when I got to clicking "This frame" (Step 13 in the guide), I receive a warning dialog that "analysis was not saved due to error: not enough input arguments". In MATLAB, I get the following in the command window:

I am using the phase.tif file and parameters provided in the tutorial for this analysis.

Decreasing the fsmooth value in the parameters doesn't change the error unless fsmooth is set to 1 or below. In this case, I get a new error in MATLAB:

Not enough input arguments (Warning dialog)

Correction: After decreasing fsmooth to 1 or below, the MATLAB errors are only the "quality check failed - try resplitting" type. I accidentally copy and pasted previous error messages.

Hi Austin,

Hard to tell what exactly is going on, a couple of ideas/fixes:
-Try reloading the parameters and make sure you cell good segmentation results when you click the Segmentation button (Step 10.2-12 in the tutorial).
-Oufti is typically only compatible with Matlab up to 2013/2014, so this could still be a compatibility issue. Perhaps try running it in an earlier version of Matlab.
-Also, keep in mind that we have had many issues with Oufti on Mac computers after OS upgrades and have stopped supporting Oufti on Apple products. You can have a look at other forum questions and will quickly find out that, unfortunately, you are not the only Mac user with Oufti issues.
