Well, a new school year anyways. After a LONG, HOT summer the countdown is approaching an end. Our (pre-season #8) Sooners kickoff the 2010 football season this Saturday, September 4 at 6:00 p.m. against Utah State.[Soft Break][Soft Break]This game will be on Pay-per-View and since everyone is trying to save a buck or two, why not watch it with us at The Franchise Grill and Bar in Plano! The Franchise is the ONLY confirmed location in the Metroplex to definitely have the game. Be sure to arrive early to guarantee a good seat as there will be lots of NCAA action to watch.

2010 Sooner football brings back a lot of unexpected experience. Landry Jones (2009 - 3,198 passing yards, 26 touchdowns, 58% completion) will start at quarterback. Running back DeMarco Murray (2009 – 1,200 yards combined, 12 TDs) will be double trouble in both the running game and the receiving game. Wide out Ryan Broyles (2009 – 1,120 yards, 89 receptions, 15 TDs) is a favorite target of Jones and will lead an explosive group of receivers.
Utah State returns to Norman for the first time since 2007 when they lost 54-3. Last season, USU’s offense set a school record 5,272 yards of total offense, led by quarterback Diondre Borel who accumulated over 3,300 of those yards. Overall, USU returns 18 starters.
