Hi all! We're excited to let you know that we are now accepting applications for the SustainUS delegation to the 21st Session of the Conference of Parties (COP21) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC)! Our work will feature three primary tracks: media, mobilization, and advocacy. We believe that in order to build a powerful movement for justice, equity, and a stable planet, we need all hands on deck.  SustainUS delegates will have the opportunity to work alongside government officials, civil society representatives, and youth from around the world, as we organize direct actions, coordinate media outreach, and lobby government delegates. When applying, tell us what you can uniquely bring to this space and how you’d make a valuable contribution to this delegation. This year has the potential to be a defining year for our movement. We’re excited to convene a delegation that is dedicated to fight for a just and stable world. The SustainUS delegation is open to individuals between the ages of 18-26, who have lived in the United States for at least six months. If you’ve been to COP in the past (with SustainUS or otherwise), click here to apply. Your application is due TODAY! - April 17th. If you’ve never been on a SustainUS delegation, click here to apply. Your application is due Wednesday April 22nd. Selected COP21 delegation members will attend the UNFCCC climate negotiations in Paris, France from November 25 – December 15, 2015. Ideally, delegates will attend for the entirety of this time; however, applicants who have more limited availability will still be taken into consideration. If you are not eligible to apply, there are still many ways that you can contribute to our work.
