I like ArcGIS Pro. It is clearly a step forward in many ways. But why is it so slow for what are very simple things that should be nearly instantaneous. For example, if I want to adjust the symbology of something, ever single step causes the program to whir and think for about ten seconds, even when the layer is turned off! What exactly does it have to think about when the layer is not even rendering?
Almost every action in the program seems to generate some unknown processing demand. I can understand if the map is updating or a tool is running, but it seems to be for everything. This really drags down productivity and leaves me frustrated. If it wasnt for this, Id probably start switching to Pro completely. With all these lags though, it is impossible.
I would just like to point out that it just took me *6* minutes for the 'Create Mosaic Dataset' tool to open on a brand spanking new project in Pro 2.6.1. I'm on a pretty decent Dell workstation with 32gb RAM but Pro still has a very bad habit of hanging when opening or closing tools. It's making it very hard to convince coworkers to switch to it and drop ArcMap.
Additionally, customers may only download software for which they have a valid license, procured from Cisco directly, or through a Cisco authorized reseller or partner. In most cases this will be a maintenance upgrade to software that was previously purchased. Free security software updates do not entitle customers to a new software license, additional software feature sets, or major revision upgrades.
In all cases, customers should ensure that the devices to be upgraded contain sufficient memory and confirm that current hardware and software configurations will continue to be supported properly by the new release. If the information is not clear, customers are advised to contact the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) or their contracted maintenance providers.
We just ran into this as well. Apparently the Dymo print service is trying to validate the generated xml against an xsd file. That file is not cached, so the print service is hitting w3.org to download it. Some time recently w3.org stopped responding to this request, making the xml validation slow as the request times out. So this is unrelated to any Windows update, update to the Dymo print service, or update to any browser.
If you run this command in Windows power shell as an administrator (and the path to your service is the same as ours), it will block the call to w3.org, causing it to fail fast instead of slow and move on to printing.
To monitor performance, gateway admins have traditionally depended on manually monitoring performance counters through the Windows Performance Monitor tool. We now offer additional query logging and a Gateway Performance PBI template file to visualize the results. This feature provides new insights into gateway usage. You can use it to troubleshoot slow-performing queries.
Gateway diagnostics doesn't capture diagnostics directly related to the (virtual) machine and its network, like bandwidth or latency. However, these diagnostics might impact your gateway performance. You can use resource monitoring tools to monitor your machine.
By default, the gateway performs basic logging. If you're investigating slow-performing queries, in addition to using the performance monitoring feature, you can temporarily enable Additional logging to gather additional log information. To do this, in the on-premises data gateway app select Diagnostics > Additional logging.
By default, the on-premises data gateway spools data before returning it to the dataset, potentially causing slower performance during data load and refresh operations. The default behavior can be overridden.
Keeping your fleet in good shape all-year-round can help you maximize productivity and avoid unexpected vehicle breakdowns or service delays. Meaning vehicle maintenance is an essential branch of fleet management.
Failing to run a proper fleet maintenance program could be fatal to vehicle based businesses. Poor maintenance could lead to frequent vehicle breakdowns, safety concerns, service disruptions, and poor customer satisfaction. Unreliable service could discourage your valuable customers and clients from engaging with your business again in the future.
An intelligent dashboard helps fleet managers utilize assets more efficiently and easily schedule planned maintenance. It can also streamline the entire vehicle parts and components purchasing procedures, as the system can track parts inventory and help you directly order parts to replace faulty units right within the dashboard.
To conclude, dedicated fleet maintenance software is an essential piece of equipment for any businesses that are looking to improve fleet efficiency and make real cost savings over the long run. If your business wants to get on board and is looking for innovative ideas and solutions that can bring your fleet operations to the next level, work with one of our industry-specific specialists to see how we can create a maintenance software system like ZenduMaintenance personalized just for your business.
Since last tuesday somewhere in the afternoon all of our devices suddenly started booting very slow, then during the night the problems slowly fade away and in the morning boot times are normal again (2-3 min) only to further slow down again the later we get in the day.
Hi folks, we also encountered this exact issue and nailed it down to Windows Defender Cache Maintenance. We cut a new vdisk gold image for our non-persistent environment and included the following in our MDT deployment task which resolved the issue.
After putting the command SCHTASKS /Change /TN "\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Defender\Windows Defender Cache Maintenance" /Disable in a GPO and rebooting the VDI's our issue was gone. The were no more spikes within vmware and netapp. ?
No. The maintenance we performed improved the time it takes to load Easel and save changes. It did not have any impact on carving or any other actions in Easel that do not use the Internet, such as simulating tool paths.
You have been redirected to this page because NHTSA's VIN search tool may be experiencing intermittent disruption due to routine maintenance, slow manufacturer response or heavy traffic to this page. To ensure you get the important information you are seeking, you can click on the appropriate vehicle maker below to go to its VIN search tool.
This is a great place to start when it comes to troubleshooting a slow draining sink. If your sink has a pop-up, carefully take it out and remove debris that has built up around the tool. This will also allow you to see if there are any significant blockages in the drain that you can pull out on your own to help clear up the issue.
Whether making an at-home cleaner or buying a solution at the store, this is a common fix many turn to when it comes to a slow draining sink. There are several options available for purchase at local supermarkets, but for those who prefer to create their own solution, one of the most common is the following.
I prefer command line instead of a GUI program. You can find any software with apt search or snap find and install it with sudo apt install or sudo snap install
apt/snap command line tool is always a good choice to manage your softwares.
The World Health Organization (WHO) currently recommends Xpert MTB/RIF as the initial test for all people with presumptive tuberculosis (TB). A number of challenges have been reported, however, in using this technology, particularly in low-resource settings. Here we examine these challenges, and provide our perspective of the barriers to Xpert scale-up as assessed through a survey in 16 TB burden countries in which the Médecins Sans Frontières is present. We observed that the key barriers to scale-up include a lack of policy adoption and implementation of WHO recommendations for the use of Xpert, resulting from high costs, poor sensitisation of clinical staff and a high turnover of trained laboratory staff; insufficient service and maintenance provision provided by the manufacturer; and inadequate resources for sustainability and expansion. Funding is a critical issue as countries begin to transition out of support from the Global Fund. While it is clear that there is still an urgent need for research into and development of a rapid, affordable point-of-care test for TB that is truly adapted for use in low-resource settings, countries in the meantime need to develop functional and sustainable Xpert networks in order to close the existing diagnostic gap.
These maintenances were done early Saturday morning :REDSHIFT-EVENT-3014REDSHIFT-EVENT-3520REDSHIFT-EVENT-3519REDSHIFT-EVENT-2004REDSHIFT-EVENT-2003On Saturday during the day I connected to my reports and all queries were very slow. This happens after every amazon maintenance.I haven't tried to contact account support yet, I wanted to find out if this behavior was encountered by other users.
Hello, to best answer your question, I think a few follow-up questions are needed. For example, you mention cluster maintenance (e.g. Redshift software upgrade), but am wondering if it is really automatic table maintenance that is being referred to (e.g. automatic sort key optimization). Also, is it all queries exhibiting a slow-down or just some queries? Have you tried reaching out to account support or your account solutions architect for help possibly examining your cluster with you in real time?
There are many methods to keeping your starter healthy and in proper working order, likely as many methods as bakers. Each baker has a process for maintaining their starter according to what works for them and the bread they seek. Each starter is unique, after all: a distinctive blend of wild yeast and beneficial bacteria that has evolved in the temperature it's kept at, the flour used for refreshments, and the time between those refreshments. I wanted to preface this article because the following is what works for me here in my kitchen and will most likely work for you as well, but I guarantee you'll find yourself modifying my method to suit your environment. That's to be expected. An essential requirement for a baker is flexibility and adapting techniques and inputs so everything performs optimally in your kitchen. In the end, your sourdough starter maintenance routine might be similar to mine, or it might be quite different.
