Hi,

using otter api, a couple of weeks ago I downloaded some tweets (from a couple of years ago) and when I tried to download them again a couple of days ago I got around the half amount of tweets than I got the first time (e.g. first time: ~150000, next time: ~77000). I have tried to download them multiple times and I still get around the half amount of them. Trying to compare the first dataset with the new ones, I noticed that a lot of RTs are missing from the new ones but tweets as well.

I have noticed that topsy.com changed its interface lately, so I am wondering if there have been any changes behind the scenes as well or any reason why this is happening?

I would appreciate if you could help me with that?

Thanks,

George.

Thanks for asking this, George.

We're also wondering about this.  A topsy search for "http://total-impact.org" used to respond with more than 300 tweets and now returns 121.

Thanks,
Heather
