to Otter API to Topsy
The search results from your otter api don't have any IDs associated
with them. Are you hiding them? How do I retrieve the corresponding
UIDs?

For tweets, I get the id from twitter urls (trackback_permalink).

are you using the full URL as the ID? the tweet ids are not unique.

I do an md5 of the full url.
I use that to prevent duplications as well in Topsy results (nohidden param doesn't seem to totally do the job)
