BeaverTails are vegan!

I found out last week that BeaverTails are vegan! Just ask them not to brush it with butter. Conformation from the company is below.

Dear Katie,
Thank you for submitting your questions regarding our addictive product! You will find no animal based product in the dough portion of the BeaverTails, however, we do smear butter on them in order to hold the toppings (which are all vegetarian) like our famous cinnamon and sugar blend. Also, our product is fried in Canola or Soya oil (depending on the store you visit).

Thanks for this wonderful information. We have a field trip to look at the snow sculptures tomorrow and it’s great to know I can join everyone in the activity as they eat beaver tails. Shows everyone that being vegan isn’t all doom and gloom,
