Ottawa Animal Defense League,

Please check out our great upcoming April events:

April 12: Over 400,000 baby seals are slated to be slaughtered for their fur. The federal party leaders are debating in Ottawa Tuesday night, and we will be there to represent the majority of Canadians in demanding they listen to the people and stop supporting the slaughter, and end it once and for all. Facebook event.

Where: NAC, National Arts Centre, Intersection of Elgin St. and Queen St. Ottawa
When: Tuesday, April 12, 5pm-7pm

April 23: Vigil for the lost lives of 100 sled dogs. More info to come.

April 27: Fundraiser at Absolute Comedy for local sanctuary Jasper's Spaw Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation Sanctuary. Click here for more info about Jasper's Spaw. Tickets are $15 and must be bought in advance. Please contact Caroline at (613) 291-3691 or at Caroli...@gmail.com to buy tickets. Facebook event.

Where: Absolute Comedy, 412 Preston St, Ottawa
When: Wednesday, April 27 @ 8:0-10pm

April 28: PETA seal hunt demonstration, in solidarity with protests being held across Canada just before tax day. The government spends millions of our tax dollars supporting the seal slaughter even though a majority of Canadians are against it. Facebook event.

Where: Canada Revenue Agency National Headquarters, 555 McKenzie Ave, Ottawa (Big brick building near Chateau Laurier).
When: Thursday, April 28 @ 11:45pm-1pm
