Hello all,
A great new addition to the Ancestry.ca collection: the Ottawa Journal is now available in digital form. You can subscribe to access the Ancestry.ca databases or take advantage of the service for free at the Ottawa Public Library.
In ancestry.ca, look for Newspapers/Canada/Ottawa, Ontario, Canada/The Ottawa Journal 1885-1980.
The first page notes that there a only a few editions missing, namely 1909 Jul-Dec, 1963 Oct, and 1970 Jan-May.
The newspapers are grouped in sections according to date so easy enough to find the paper for a given date.

This collection is also available for (free) consultation at the City of Ottawa Archives (100 Tallwood Drive) using the online service newspapers.com.
