We have consensus! No shape note singing for July in Ottawa! 

Please join us on the 3rd Sunday of August: August 16th

From 1:30 to 4 PM

WAKEFIELD

In the meantime, join us in Wakefield on Tuesdays, 6:30-8 PM:

• August 11

TORONTO

We're invited to the Toronto 2-day all-day weekend on August 22-23 (with another session on Friday, Aug. 21 singing from the Shenandoah Harmony).

Hi all! I'm writing to see if you'd be available on a different date. 

Can you please reply if you're available or not on Sunday, August 9^th to sing in Ottawa from 1:30-4 PM? 

Logistically, the 9^th would be easier than August 16 (3^rd Sunday), but the 16 is still possible if need be.

I'll send a reminder the week before, but here's the info: 

🎼 Singing from The Sacred Harp 🎶

Sunday, August 9th

1:30 to 4 p.m.

McNabb Park, Ottawa 

• Dress for the weather! 🌞🌧
• Pack water and a snack (to share, perhaps!)
• Bring a chair in case we can't find a few tables
• We'll have copies of 2025 The Sacred Harp to lend you, borrowed from our friends the Wakefield Shape Note Singers!

💸If you have the means to contribute to the book buying fund + to help cover the upcoming room rental fees, please bring cash! 

Having our own copies of the book to lend will make it easier to welcome new singers. 

Parking is available for free on the streets around the park (easiest access to the park is from Gladstone) and behind the rec centre (180 Percy St.). 

There is a portapotty toilet in the park. 

Looking forward to singing with you!
