Noise

Hi Guys,

 

The noise is gone.  Took the car to Jamie at Bent Wrench Garage in Cardinal.  He was great.  Very knowledgeable with very good pricing.  Turned out that the problem was that the rear frame bolts were not fully torqued so that it could move a bit and produce a clank when the bolts hit the edges of the bolt holes.  He did a thorough check of the car and fixed the problem for  the princely sum of $74.58 – not even one hour of labour!!

 

He spoke about the car in a way that indicates that he is very familiar with it, having done clutch changes and other work.  I cannot recommend him highly enough.
