[Ottawa Swordplay]

Hi all,

Things have been hectic for the last little while. Lots of new things have been happening, and are still ongoing. I have a number of overdue announcements.

New website: I've changed the website quite a bit, but work is still ongoing. Even though it is under construction http://ottawaswordplay.com does have current schedules and other information, and in the next few weeks it will be further updated. I have finally fixed the issue with paypal, so students can pay for lessons online again.

New location: This is the biggest news. I've officially relocated to 1000 Brookfield Road, in what used to be Gabrielle Roy public school. The entrance is at the back, and the training hall is upstairs. Please note that this section of Brookfield Road is not connected directly to Bronson or Bank. It can be found south of Heron by taking either Kaladar or Clover.

Expanded schedule: Now that I have my own space full time, I've added a lot of new class times. The schedule is up on the website:  http://ottawaswordplay.com/?page_id=67 

There are lots of other small changes that are ongoing. To stay in the loop, please follow me on twitter or like me on Facebook. Those get more frequent, shorter updates.

One last thing. Tonight, March ninth, at 7:00 pm I will be taking the inaugural tests for Ottawa Swordplay's new rank system. I will be test for at least two ranks (hopefully three). Everyone is welcome to come and see some or all of this process, and find out a bit more about how the ranking system works. Qualified attendees can even participate as demo partners or freeplay challengers. Come out to the training hall, and make things more challenging for me!
