In this role you will provide administrative support to the CEO
including management of the CEO’s agenda and communication
requirements as well as provide support to the management team. You
will be able to show demonstrated success in the areas of
administration, relationship building and customer service and
understand how to support a busy CEO of a fast-growing startup in any
number of ways.

Responsibilities

Ensures proper follow-up on delegated tasks to ensure deadlines are
met
Organizes and manages the executive’s calendar including meetings,
priorities and required materials for appointments
Serves as a liaison between departments and operating units in the
resolution of day-to-day administrative and operational challenges
Arranges travel arrangements and manages trip itineraries
Performs ad hoc assignments involving research
Coordination and execution of special projects
Assists with organizing meetings and/or special events for the company
and work with the marketing team when necessary
Assist with HR functions
Provide accurate word-processing support by composing and/or editing a
variety of documents, many of which consist of highly confidential
information
Develops and maintains a well-organized filing system that permits
easy reference and rapid retrieval of information
Provides support to other management team members as required

Qualifications

Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills
Senior administrative support experience in an entrepreneurial
environment is preferred
A minimum of five years of related experience with progressive levels
of responsibility in administrative roles supporting executive-level
personnel
Willingness to take on additional responsibilities outside of your
Executive Assistant role
Work independently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills accompanied by
strong facilitation and negotiation skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and strong analytical, organizational
and time management skills
Excellent consulting skills with a flair for developing relationships,
persuasion and building trust
Professional demeanour, maturity, natural business acumen and an
exceptionally high level of customer service
Resourceful, disciplined and independent character with strong
initiative and excellent problem-solving skills
Adept at asking questions and listening actively
Display a high level of responsibility, professionalism and discretion
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and apply judgment
Detail oriented, organized and proactive with significant foresight to
identify issues in advance
University degree in Business Administration or related field
Travel related diploma considered an asset
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel,
PowerPoint and Outlook
