As an ideal candidate, you would have programming experience or an
engineering background and are currently seeking customer/business
exposure. Growing into this role you will learn the methodology of
strategic, enterprise-level selling and grow your skills as a
technical salesperson.
Territory: Your territory will include the continental US, and select
Canadian and International accounts with a focus becoming more
regional as the business grows. Occasional travel may be required.
Your place of work is not strictly defined (Ottawa preferred, but
other US / Canadian cities are an option).
Responsibilities: Your duties will include, but are not limited to,
the performance of the following tasks:
• Act as the technical prime on customer & partner sales
opportunities.
• Assist our partners through the full range pre-sales activities.
• Provide product/market/customer feedback and insights to the Benbria
product team.
• Lead formal proposals and bid projects.
• Lead internal initiatives from time to time.
• Represent Benbria Corporation in a professional, tactful, and
responsible way to customers, partners, and the general public at all
times, including in meetings, webinars, demos, customer calls, on- and
off-site sales presentations.
• Other duties as required and to be assigned to you from time-to-
time.
Prerequisites: We are seeking a candidate with a strong understanding
of (and preferably practical experience with) the following:
• IP Networking, Configuration of networked systems.
• Voice/Data network layout and design, IP-PBX or Legacy telephony
systems, SIP telephony.
• Linux and/or shell-based management of systems, scripting or other
programming experience.

Compensation: You will receive a base salary, SE commissions on
opportunities in your territory, and other non-cash incentives subject
to approval by the board
