Wow season passes go up, trails are more and more moved to the side of
the roads, removal of day passes. Middle of January and trails are
mostly limited.
I wonder how long before snowmobiling in the Ottawa area ceases to exist.
Depressing :-(

And whats with this classic pass?! Why not just reduce the price for
everyone? The people at the OFSC are sniffing glue I tell ya.

The classic pass may have been a way to try and get younger people into
trail riding. For example, I bought two passes for our 92 Safaris which I
would not have at full price. Otherwise, we would have just used them at
the cottage off-trail.

I do find the Ontario trail passes are expensive compared to Quebec.
Although they seem to be relatively the same price ($235 before Dec.1, $285
after), theirs include $1 million liability insurance. I pay $144 liability
on each of my machines so their passes are $91/$141 if you deduct the
insurance. Their classic passes are a bargain at $150 which means the pass
itself is only $6! But theirs are for 1990 and older (Ontario is 1995).
