Hi

I'm new to the NG, I'm wanting to aquire some canoeing quals, need to do my
2 star but am very new to the qualification stuff, Ive been put on a
coaching level 1 course and assume I need my 2 star first, Ive done canoeing
in the past but not much in a kayak do you have to be able to paddle in both
for the 2 star?
I'm in the UK

There is *rarely* any activity in this particular newsgroup. (I don't
know why I bother staying subscribed to it.)

AND, it is supposed to be for people in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Not
that anyone else can't participate if they have a mind to.

Between the two, I doubt you're going to get a response. Not on this
group, at least.

Personally, I haven't a clue about the BCU requirements, or I'd offer
some advice.

Good luck!

Yes. Multidisciplinary skills (usually open canoe and kayak) ARE required
for BCU 2 star.
3 star and beyond are in individual disciplines.
