interested in this guitar, please feel free to contact me with

I put it up. I thought I'd give a chance for local buyers to express
interest prior.
This is the same guitar (same model, year) as Willie Nelson's famous
"Trigger", perhaps, along with SRV's strat, the most recognizable
guitar in the world. Martin did a reissue of these in 1999 (30th
anniversary), 30 made with rare (and prized) Brazilian rosewood, the
other 70 in Indian Rosewood). These were named N-20WN, and sold for
$5500 USD. I have seen 2 1969 N-20s sold on ebay, one for $4800 USD,
and one for $5400 USD.
I have been told by several sources that this is one of only <250
guitars of this year and model. I do not guarantee this information,
but I believe it to be accurate.
According to Acoustic Guitar magazine Sept./Oct. 1994, Willie Nelson's
Martin N-20 was built January 28, 1969. It, like mine, has Brazilian
rosewood sides and back and a spruce top.
The serial number of mine is #247693, which places it in the first 4
or 5 months of Martin's 1969 production. As you might expect, the
guitar sounds as Willie's does. I have several recordings of me
playing the guitar, which I will happily send to anyone who requests
them - I have included a short clip - of a Willie tune, of course. ;)
This guitar has an incredible warm sound, with amazing bottom end
tones.
I have only one actual photo of my guitar currently, I will be taking
more pictures this week. As you can see, it is in good shape,
considering the age of the guitar. There are several cracks on the
guitar's top, and some minor scratches, but all parts are original. I
have not repaired any cracks or blemishes or replaced any parts, in
order to keep 100% original. Therefore, the guitar is being sold as
is. I can assure you that none of the cracks take anything away from
the sound and playability of this guitar.
