training bra

I am a new rider looking for machanic and training partner 440 1982
Kawasaki. Husband bought a new bike for himself and bought me a used one
last fall. I went though training ready to ride, hoping to take final
road test before the snow falls, just as I was about to ride, rode it
once and bike would not idle right.
Ex-HUSBAND can't fix bikes just likes to ride by himself...bike sat in
garage all winter. So if I get it fixed I can ride... if not it will be
up for sale by the end of June. Along with helmet and all the gear with
it.I am bike-curious and don't want to loose out on the chance to enjoy
THE RIDE if you can help???

Ah sure I think it is you who is lookin for trouble! I am bike curious
and don't want to miss out on this,, is it not every man's dream to have

If you are serious about learning more about riding a motorcycle, there are
great ways to learn in a non-threathening environment. For starters, you
may wish to checkout the MotorMaids riding club. This is the oldest women's
riding club around.

There's also another local riding club called Ottawa Women Motorcyclist
Enthusiasts (WME).

There are countless groups locally that are non-brand specific that you
could also ride with. From my experience none descriminate against new
riders, quite the contrary, they embrace the opportunity to get you on the
road safely while you enjoy your ride.

From my personal experience, this newsgroup was also instrumental in getting
me up to speed on all I ever needed to know about bikes (even questions I
was afraid to ask).

One thing I can share with you is that you don't ever need to engage in the
battle of the sexes by challenging people about their "wrenching skills or
abilities" or explaining your marital status (reference to Ex-HUSBAND in
your message) or insinuating explicit sexual conetations (bike-curious
easily misinterpreted as bi-curious and "chicks" that ride) to get the
information you are looking for. If you are genuinely looking for a riding
partner and information about groups and rides, no need to disgrace our
gender to get solid information. Be proud of your abilities to ride. You
took the course and got that license, be proud of it and of your interest in
a non-traditional sport. Learn all about it, love it for life !!!!

Hmmm... not sure about your sentence structure there, Jo. It's true that
SOME of the ladies ARE older, but there are also many younger ones in
the membership roster. Or... did you mean that the RIDING CLUB itself is
the oldest one around for women riders? ;-)

calling it like I see it ;-)

Hope you reconsider extending your riding beyond your previous "June"
timeframe. We haven't had much riding weather but on good days, its a real
joy to be out there and feeling that wind on your face.

My worries is If I can't get it up an running I could sell it.. Someone
should get the chance to ride anyway I still need the final part of my
test so this is why I need to get it done A.S.A.P I will be out tonight
looking for help at the Orleans Mall tonight look for the girl with the

A little help, met someone who rides but does not wrench... back to
square one but I did get a free T-Shirt! Caught a cold while I was at it...
