So, how was it?
I didn't have a chance to take a look there.
Mind to share what you saw?

Not sure if there are good deals as a result of this little mini show but
I'm passing along the info.

Wheelsports has a "display" of bikes at les Promenades de l'Outaouais in
Gatineau. It ends this Sunday.

I plan on checking it out tomorrow.

I went,

Goo show, there was other dealers there also.
I wanted to see the GS500 and the V-Storm but they did not have them there.
Had the chance to speek to one of the salesman there, forget his name, but
he was nice and
answered all my questions. Could not say the same for the other dealers.
I asked the price for the 2003 GS500, and when he told me 5100$, I became
dissy.
Is this the cheapest bike on the market? I'm thinking of this bike more and
more now.
To get a used 5-7 year old EX500 for 3000-4000$, I might as well spend
another 1000$
and get a new GS500. He did tell me that the GSF600F was a better bike but
my budjet doesn't
allow me that price range. But 5100$ ? That's defenitly in my range. This
is even without dealing.
Maybee they could reduce the price down to about 4850$ to 4950$ but that's
about as low as
I think they can go.

Well, with this in mind, my 2 choices for a new bike, if not a used one, is:
Kawasaki EX500 6100$ (Quoted by Centre Sport Motorisé Gatineau)
and
Suzuki GS500 5100$ (Quoted by Wheelsport)

Later.

Interesting. The MSRP at suzuki.ca is $5999. I guess dealers have some
room to move on those prices.

Johanne, you seem to be in love with the Heritage. I am not sure why you
would settle for less.
How much is a new Volusia?? You can pick up a used FLSTC for a good price if
you are patient. I owned one and I wouldn't go back. If you would like to
see a picture I'll sent you one. There is a lot of more modern and probably
better bikes out there, but the feel of an HD is ::::)))

If you really want to find out if a Harley is your eventual dream bike, go
to the ride day the next time it rolls into town. I was able to ride 5
different bikes in the space of about 1.5 hours since the rides were quite
short but very frequent. I went in looking to confirm that a Harley was in
my future and came away knowing that I wanted something else. They are
unique, but not for me...
If you know that your next bike (barring any lottery wins) is just going to
be a step towards some other eventual bike, why buy new and eat the first
year depreciation? What about a lightly used Kawi Vulcan?

Like riding something from the 1940's, Oh wait it is something from the
1940's ;)

Love the looks of the Massy Davidson's just can't reconcile the price
tag with the antiquated technology
