Hard to tell from the picture but it looks like a Ninja, possibly a GSXR.

We're coming to the end of the season, so lets keep it SAFE this weekend
to enjoy dreaming of next season all winter.

M symapthies to family and friends.

Hi folks,

Does anyone have any recent news about this? This is all the new info
I could find and it was from the Saturday Citizen. I heard about the
accident on the weekend but didn't realize who the rider was until
this morning. I met Romy at the track day and he seemed like a
genuinely nice guy. This really sucks if the Subaru contributed to the
accident and left the scene. I'm really shocked...

Police seek help in probe of fatal crash
Former reservist dies in Kent St. incident

Ottawa police are continuing to search for the driver of a green
Subaru Outback station wagon who may have contributed an early-morning
crash that left a Canadian Forces reservist dead.

Former master sergeant Romy Chin-Sang, 38, a Jamaican-born Canadian
and one-time "reservist of the year." worked in Ottawa as a
subcontractor for the military,.

He was killed after losing control of his 2003 Suzuki GSX motorcycle
and striking a wood telephone pole.

The accident happened at 9:15 a.m., as he was heading north on Kent
Street, near MacLaren Street. He skidded for about five metres along
the sidewalk before coming to a stop.

"We talked) all of the time, at least two or three times a week," said
the victim's brother, Dennis Chin-Sang, who was on his way to Ottawa
last night from Toronto.

"He had lots of friends."

Mr. Chin-Sang described his brother as a man who loved motorcycles,
riding bikes, going fishing and spending time with friends. He wasn't
married and had no children, he said.

He also recalls his brother receiving the "Reservist of the year"
award from the Canadian Forces.

"He was a great guy and an excellent soldier -- physically fit, well
built -- he was an easy-going guy," added Master Cpl. Frank Misztal,
who served with him on a 1991 peacekeeping mission in Golan Heights.
At the time, Master Cpl. Chin-Sang worked as a linesman, climbing
telephone polls and laying lines all over the base.

Mr. Chin-Sang, who also served on peacekeeping missions in Syria and
Germany, is the son of Jamaican immigrant Doreen Chin-Sang, one of the
first female politicians to win a government seat in the area of
Jamaica known as Yallahs. Mrs. Chin-Sang, who died three years ago in
Whitby, Ont., was an advocate for immigrants in Canada.

Ottawa police Const. Margaret Gural, an accident reconstructionist at
the scene said police don't know how Mr. Chin-Sang lost control of his
vehicle.

Witnesses told police that a green Subaru Outback station wagon headed
west on MacLaren might have pulled in front of the motorcycle, causing
Mr. Chin-Sang to swerve and hit the pole.

The driver of the Subaru is described as bald and in his 50s. He was
wearing a suit and possibly glasses. Anyone with any information is
asked to contact Const. Gural at 236-1222 ext. 2478.
