I parked my bike in the shade under the trees at Billings Bridge today and
received a $25 City of Ottawa parking ticket handed out by Billings Bridge
parking officers for "Park on property of commision other than in a
designated parking area".
I work over Zellers during the daytime and have parked in the same place the
last 3 weeks. No warning. No signs saying don't park there. I know
another rider that was parked in the same area that got ticketed today too.
He told me that he had parked in that area for years with no problem.
Has anyone had similar experiences other than areas marked no parking, or
expired meters? Be careful at Billings Bridge.

My Co-op where I live does the same thing. So here's what you do. You
challenge the ticket in court. They are required to have the person who
wrote it go to court to testify. You challenge the information aka person
who wrote the ticket for accuracy.
9 times out of 10 they never show up and the ticket is beat.
