Our government client is seeking a ColdFusion Developer to perform
programming on functionality enhancements and CLF 2.0 compliancy for one of
their current reporting applications.<br>

Role and Responsibilities
* Perform programming enhancements on existing Website application using
ColdFusion platformCreate and call stored procedures, custom query
statements and transactions from ColdFusion code using SQL Server database
platform;
*
Perform design and programming changes to make the existing application
Common Look and Feel (CLF 2.0) and XHTML Strict compliant;
*
Provide expert advice on and/or assist in implementing new processes and
organizational changes;
*
Perform and document the application testing;
*
Implement role based security within applications and use industry security
best practices;
*
Analyse Project documentation and requirements; and
*
Report progress of the project on an ongoing basis and at scheduled points
in the life cycleValidate and verify documented business requirements and
processes with project stakeholders (internal program staff, external
clients and technical personnel).
Qualifications and Experience
* 10+ years experience in developing applications in an n-tier
environment;
*
2+ years in last 4 years experience performing application development
using Cold Fusion technology.
*
2+ years in last 4 years experience performing application development
using SQL databases and MS SQL Server 2000.
*
3 years experience developing applications that implement and adhere to
Government of Canada application guidelines and policies (in particular CLF
and Accessibility guidelines); and
*
Previous experience implementing role based security within applications
and using industry security best practices.
