Administer the DMPT domain ensuring that authenticated users with
appropriate access privileges are capable of retrieving media content
from the VS ArchiveTM;
Perform DMPT's day-to-day administrative and operational duties
including of installation and configuration of DMAS' hardware and
software components, system performance monitoring, and system level
troubleshooting and patching;
Administer the DMAS's video encoding platform (i.e. Virage VLOGGERTM,
SmartEncodeTM, SoftSoundTM) within the gigabit/fiber channel backbone
into the HDS disk array to ensure the engineered level of system
performance is maintained;
Administer the Control CenterTM server/client application to work with
the VloggerTM encoders within the production environment;
Assist in the administration of backup hardware (StorageTek Library)
and software resources (CommVault Galaxy) to perform the on-demand
archival and retrieval of DMPT's digital media assets; and
On-going development and documentation on DMPT's systems including
DMAS's domain administration processes and procedures on an ongoing
basis
