Our government is seeking a Technical Writer to assist Business Analysts in
the production of all the required documentation for the development of the
new application. <br>
<br>

Role and Responsibilities
* Design the layout of the documents/manuals.
* Determine documentation requirements and makes plans for meeting them.
* Documents help text, user manuals, technical documentation, web page
content, etc.
* Review documentation standards and the existing project documentation.
* Investigate the accuracy of the information collected by making direct
use of the material being documented.
* Prepare or coordinate the preparation of any required illustrations and
diagrams.
* Use word-processing, desk-top publishing and graphics software packages
to produce final camera-ready copy.
* Analyze current project documentation and requirements state
* Analyze business functional requirements to identify information,
procedures and decision flows.
* Document business requirements, and elaborate requirements via Use
Cases, UML diagrams, and user interface/workflow wireframes/mock-ups.

Qualifications and Experience
* Graduation with a degree from a recognized University in computer
science, information technology, information management, engineering or
another specialty relevant to this position.
* 10 years Information Management (IM) and Information Technology (IT)
experience.
* 8 years Technical Writer experience.
* 5 years experience documenting business processes and requirements using
at least one of the following standards: Unified Modeling Language (UML) or
Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN).
* Capacity to write both in French and English.
