Our government client is seeking a Senior SQL DBA to provide services
related with central data base population, data base development, data base
optimization, and assist the IM team and data owners workgroups with their
effort of migrating data from various sources to the central data base.

Role and Responsibilities
* The individual will be providing the following data base services using
the SQL Server technology;
* Participate to SWI IM team and data owners workgroups meetings;

Recommend migration options/solutions;
* Review data models created;
* Identify tools and/or develop tools as required;
* Perform ETL operations to support population of central data base;
* Create scripts, triggers and possibly develop other database server-side
code;
* Create tests and/or test-data;
* Perform data base profiling and optimization;
* Document tools, code and procedures created;
* Meet quality objectives and standards set by the Technical Lead;
* Provide SQL Server expertise to IT implementation team; and
* Update logs and prepare status reports on a recurring basis.
Qualifications and Experience
* 5 years experience in administrating SQLServer Data bases in the last 6
years.
* 5 years SQLServer data base profiling and optimization for large and
complex enterprise software application solutions in the last 6 years.
* 3 years experience performing database troubleshooting in the last 4
years.
* 1 project in the last 3 years where implementing Database from logical
or physical.
* 1 project in the last 3 years with proven negotiation, change
management, and work estimation skills.
* 1 projects in the last 3 years in depth experience working with a IM
team of data architects and data modelers.
