CHRI 99.1 FM Entertainment Events


On Thursday January 13th from 6:30 to 8:30pm, Young Leaders in Business
presents Uplift, a gathering of emerging leaders and young business
professionals at the BMO Institute of Learning, 3550 Pharmacy Ave, Toronto.
With a musical performance by Jacob Moon which costs $10. Featuring David
Collins, president of Canadian Food for the Hungry International. For

On Wednesday January 19th at 7:30pm, the Anglican Church's world relief and
development agency is holding "The Three Cantors" Concert at Christ Church
Cathedral, corner of Sparks and Bronson. All proceeds go to help people
affected by the South Asian earthquake and tsunami. Tickets are $20 and are
available at Canterbury House, 97 Hinton Ave North. And the Christ Church
Cathedral Office.

On Wednesday February 19th beginning at 9:30am, Fallout 2005 starts and will
be held at North Dundas District High School, on highway 43 between
Winchester and Chesterville. The event finishes at 12pm on February 20th.
Featuring Matt Brouwer and band from Texas, Jill Paquette from Tennessee and
guest speaker, Jared Siebert from Kingston. Fallout 2005 House Worship Band
is being lead by worship pastor Scott Taylor from California. Registration

On March 19th at 3pm, La Favoritte presents a Family Matinee Concert titled,
The Story of Easter, at All Saints' Westboro, 347 Richmond Rd. Tickets are

On Tuesday January 11th from 7 to 9 pm, Carleton Place/Almonte Christian
Women's Club is having a dinner party at Kelly's Loft, Hwy. 29, Carleton
Place. Special guests are Cindy Forget, Anne Leroux, and Helga Sarkar. The

On Wednesday January 12th from 9:30 to 11am, Orleans/Gloucester Christian's
Women's Club presents The Impact of Fitness on our Health with Susan Sloan

On Wednesday January 12th from 7 to 9pm, Bishop Hamilton Montessori School
is having an information evening for September 2005 enrolment. Programs are

presents 'Preparing the Word' Workshop at St. Basil's Church. The workshop

Rooms Training Workshop for anyone interested in learning about and being

The Word Guild Canadian Christian Writing Awards - The deadline for
submissions is January 21st, 2005. The award will be honoured in 28
categories, including, biographies, Bible studies, romance novels, opinion
columns, news articles, children's stories, and more. Winners will receive
cash prizes, a gold lapel pin, certificates, and on-stage recognition on
June 17th, 2005 during the Write! Canada conference in Guelph, Ontario. For

Parkwood Presbyterian Church is having a video series with informal
discussions for new Christians. The start date is January 11th and continues
