Length of Assignment: 3 Months, with possibility of extension
Description of Project or Company/Organization:
Our Ottawa based customer is looking for VMWare Technical Consultants for upcoming contract opportunities.
Job Description:
• Provide support and expertise on a Microsoft Exchange environment
• Evaluate customer requirements and constraints and develop optimal recommendations
• Provide hands-on configuration and validation of design, as well as production deployment and migration
• Develop documentation on design, configuration and project results
• Provide knowledge transfer to technical staff
Mandatory Qualifications:
• Enhanced reliability security clearance
The ideal consultant will have experience with the following:
• Planning or implementing of server virtualization technologies such as those VMware and Microsoft
• Monitoring server operational metrics
• Monitoring an MS Exchange environment using MOM (Microsoft Operations Manager) or SCOM (Systems
Center
Operations Manager)
• Designing and implementing servers in a production environment
Education Requirements:
• VMWare Certified Professional (VCP)
