Sr. Database Developer
Job Responsibilities:
Create, tune and test complex SQL stored procedures for large and complex OLAP/OLTP data sets Participate in requirement meetings with business consultants to understand and collect requirements. Validate the accuracy of business rules and transformations Update of monthly Active-Strategy dashboard Automation of Data Universe creation tool for Compliance Conversion of SAS Mainframe scripting to T-SQL
Required Skills/Qualification:
10+ Years as a database developer. Ability building data abstraction layers. Stored procedures, triggers and SQL. Extensive background in development on multiple databases. 7+ years Software Development Experience utilizing SDLC and Agile/Scrum 5+ years SQL Server T-SQL Advanced Query optimization (indexing, partitioning, execution plan analysis) 5+ years Data Warehousing ETL (SSIS), performance and auditing on large data 3+ years Report Development with SSRS and Crystal / Business Objects Sharepoint 2013 - 'Site' admin and development, tea plus Excel 2013 and PowerPivot, a plus Excellent oral and written communication Experience in object-oriented design and analysis.
Required experience:
MS SQL, T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, ETL, SQl, SAS, Oracle, IBM db2, Teradata, MySQL, OLAP, OLTP: 1 year
