March Tracking meet

Its getting close to spring and you know what that means. Its a
perfect time to go sign tracking!

All of the animals have laid down their patterns all winter long, and
the leaves are compacted down. The trails and runs should be fairly
easy to find right now. Can you find any? Post some pics of some
trails or runs. If you do take a picture be sure to lay down a ruler
so we can see the actual size.

Good questions to ask yourself when you find a trail. Who is using
this trail? When are they using it? Where does it head? What direction
do they move on it ? How often do they use it? What size is it?

We will be having a tracking club meet on the 22nd of March. We will
once again meet at bell slough, but this time we will head into the
forest to map out some trails and runs.
