For the upcoming tracking club meet I figure we can meet at Pinnacle
again, but this time we will be tracking plants with Mike Thennes. His
plant workshop will cost $15, and you will need to sign up before we
get there. Take a look!

can anyone tell me a little bit more about pinnacle, like where it is and any details you think appropriate.

Sure thing, Pinnacle mnt start park is west of little rock on Hwy 10 : here is another map
Email Pinnacle mountain state park to make sure you have a spot. One good thing to do is bring a digital camera, that way you can take photos of the plants that are shown. I normally do that and a notebook (so I can remember the names of the plants.)
 
The class starts at the visitor center, which is on the back side of Pinnacle. Go past the main entrance (soccor fields ect ) on 300 and then follow the signs to the visitor center.
