September Tracking

The Tracking club meet for this month will be at Belle Slough, this
Saturday at 9am. We will be meeting at the parking area right by the
main entrance. Please call 501-697-1368 if you have any questions.
Bring a ruler, notepad, paper, pen or pencil, and any snacks or drinks
you will need. I was thinking of following 100 tracks in the shale
pit and some mapping of that area.

Afternoon all, came out of lurk mode and I would love to go, but that is a heck of a hike from Fayetteville for one day. Is there any parks close by where one can spend the night? It would be nice to be around water cause that way I can bring a canoe and scope things out from the water. Take some pics and just hang out. If I can see my way clear and there is some where close to stay, anyone who wants to do some paddling is welcome to join me.

sorry for backing out, but just had ankle surgery and am under strick instructions for no weight bearing and am on crutches. how did that vanburen trip go?that sure was close to me.

Joe I am not sure of a place you can camp or canoe around that area.
It is right inbetween Conway and Little Rock, not much camping there.
Im hoping we can take some weekend tracking club meets, maybe head
down to the sandy south part of the state..
