Hello,

I have a question about OTRS configuration. We would like to choose between three types of ticket when we click on "Phone-ticket" or "Email-ticket" button.
These tickets will have differents fields depending of the type of incident. Can we configure this throught the web interface?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards

After upgrading from otrs 2.2.4 to 2.3.2 I am having a problem with running the final step of the upgrade, which is to run Admin -> SysConfig. When attempting to do this I get the following errors in the apache.err log:

The mysql settings reported from otrs show; (SHOW SESSION VARIABLES LIKE '%char%')

character_set_cl[..]

  utf8

  character_set_co[..]

  utf8

  character_set_da[..]

  utf8

  character_set_fi[..]

  binary

  character_set_re[..]

  utf8

  character_set_se[..] (server)

  latin1

  character_set_sy[..]

  utf8

  character_sets_d[..]

  /usr/share/mysql[..]

I tried looking up the issue online but only found people reporting similar errors but no resolutions.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Keith.

I removed from my Config.pm     “$Self->{'DefaultCharset'} = 'utf-8';” and it now works. As soon as I try and set it to utf-8 it fails. This is a good enough fix for me. Everything else is working as expected, with the exception of PostMaster mail problem. J
