I believe I have used this in the past. There is a screenshot on the
page which dates is back to 2008. Last update is 2010, so do not expect
it to support the newest OTRS features.

The one I used was quite simple. Download and install. Make sure you can
connect to the database from the machine that runs OTRS manager. We
stopped using it as our old server at the time was not so happy with the
additional load. If you have a decent server this should not be a problem.

I've installed it .. seems to work against 3.2 database.

Looks like as of April, 2012, this gadget has been sold to a private company and the open source version is no longer maintained. Looks kinda cool, though.
